New to the forum
Hello from Colorado! So I started playing the lottery last year late in the summer for the first time in my life. Started with Mega Millions, then I added Power Ball and now I m playing Cash 5. Problem with Cash 5 is, the jackpot is only $20,000 and at times I really feel it s not worth it unless I can win the jackpot like one a year to supplement my income. I m still undecided if I will continue playing Cash 5, although I ve developed a pretty decent system for Cash 5 which I m improving eve

Lottery Director software [purchased version]
Josephus I have been working on a new system for a couple years now and wanted to say that I think that all lottery programs are filtered wheels. I still use my digit system but wanted to try and come up with a different way to play. I did some really deep thinking and no matter what I could come up with it could be explained as a filter. The best systems would or should be rated by how well it can predict the values it needs or the type of data it provides to the user from which

What is a lottery system? What distinguishes a lottery system from guesses, dreams and quick picks?
p.s. Really, I don't know why you have a problem with me as I've even thanked you on occassion. p.s.s. I think that what's going on here is classic and happens when some people receive a message they don't like - shoot the messenger! The main problem I have with you and perhaps moreso visiondude are the little jabs and put downs you you both like to take at members such as: The following only singles out Mr. Perkis to show that you are not reporting facts. I'm sure there are othe

Lotto Maxims
This is your idea of entertianment in this forum, this is fun for you? You live by that? I mean is that what you tell your mind? Is that what you jibber to yourself when you think no one is looking? This site is about entertainment gambling. If that interferes with your life philosophy, then keep it to yourself. Anyone who lives by that maxim should not even get out of bed in the afternoon. Don t buy a quick pick or pick your own if you are going to try to whine yourself into becoming a wi

MATH 5/39: Stack47, Garyo1954, RL-RANDOMLOGIC VS Jimmy4164
Am I wasting my time? Just a bit. How can I improve the workout? See above. How I might solve the missed by one problem? OPTION #1 Find 1 or more other systems that produce different winning pairs for the same game and drawing. Combine commonalities. Yes, this may require sharing your toys with other kids. E.g. -- Bobby's system: 1,2,5 Peter's system: 1,3,6 Greg's system: 2,3,7 Winner: 1,2,3 OPTION #2 Switch to a game that pays something even when yo

Statistics around the balance of even/odd and small/big numbers
RL-RANDOMLOGIC, Your observation of the difference in the frequency of sets with more or less odd or even numbers is analogous to observing that the sum of the 5 numbers in a majority of sets falls into a minority of the total range of possible sums. The same is true for observing the number of unique digits in a set, or the average spread between the numbers. None of these patterns have anything to do with the probability of any particular set emerging. They just ARE! I thought my poi

Let's create a "So what" test
In football, it's all about percentages. You put your team in a position with the most favorable matchups and call the play with the best chance of success. Sometime it works. Sometimes it doesn't. But you come away from that particular experience knowing you did the best you could. Behind the scenes you go back, you look it over, and see what you have to do to correct the problem, if there was one, or continue with the same idea. Lottery is the a lot like that. Now maybe I missed the point o

Fooled by Randomness
(It's really getting annoying to have to keep telling you [and others] that the results I'm reporting here are NOT in support of a betting system that I am proposing, or would ever propose. They are part of a process of understanding LOTTERY SYSTEMS! The Quest for a Blockbuster System So, here is our first SYSTEM in the Fooled by Randomness thread! Your post on August 3 sure looks you either already have a system or you're trying to create one. If you and RL would stop trying

My digit system for pick-5 or pick-6 lottery
Unbelievable! So, then, are you telling me that you don't believe the Gambler's Fallacy is really a fallacy? If your answer is yes, then that explains why you believe that some things occure more often then others and why you're baffled that I don't agree with you. Furthermore, what have I said at this site that gives you the impression that I want the lottery to go away? If you check, you'll find I'm on record on several occassions declaring that I play the lottery and feel the money I spend
