Florida lottery backs GTECH-Lottomatica deal
The Florida lottery has agreed to the planned takeover of U.S. lottery operator GTECH Holdings Corp by Italy's Lottomatica, Lottomatica said on Wednesday.
Lottomatica plans to buy GTECH in a $5 billion deal that would create the world's biggest lottery operator. One of the deal conditions laid down by Lottomatica is that it would not lose GTECH's lottery operating concessions in the United States.

Here's the Board of Directors for GTech. I'll confess they don't appear to be all that sinister.
Dewey was Managing Director of Donaldson, Lufkin Jenrette Securities Corporation from 1983 through 1995, and as a member of its Board of Directors, and the name Jenrette has the ring of a US Senator or Representative involved in some scandal decades ago, but there mightn't be a connection, probably doesn't mean anything.
No mention anywhere of any of these folks being on the MUSL board.

Gtech has most lottery contracts in the United States. They have in each state 2 large computers that runs the lottery in each State. Everyone is concerned about computerized drawing and want the old drawing machines back. I don't want any of them really. Why? They are all controlled, by Gtech.
