rdarmandI think you put your case very well. It's a pleasure to read a well thought out answer and even though I don't agree with you I hope you continue to engage me and others who believe we can change the odds a bit.QWEST46 (Jason)There are a core of members here, some regular posters others pretty quiet who have achieved success and who have knowledge that they keep to themselves. Expected Return
You're all welcome. I've been trying to find out the expected payoffs for Canada's Lotto 6/49 and Lotto Super 7. My hypothesis is that even though they offer tax-free cash jackpots, they have never had a positive expected return because of high sales. I am requesting if prob987 or other statistical guru can plug the numbers into their complex formula and confirm this. The last time the 6/49 jackpot exceeded the 1 in 13,983,816 odds was for a $15 million draw back in November 15, 1997. Lotto Cheatah has never missed a game or failed to post its draw results for downloads [normally within 1 hour of the draw]. If you could not get it to update then there must have been some other problem.. somewhere.Note that Lotto Cheatah is a Win9x a

Hey, dude. Just for you, I dug up the oldest one I could find on the archive. Not my best team performance, but not my worst either. Three players using Lotto Cheatah picks for this game. It's $10 for 3/6 and 'bout $100 for 4/6, give or take. Here's the reprint, as posted in rec.gambling.lottery(Original score posted near the beginning of this thread is for LottoCheatah 1 only. Players 1, 2 and 3 all finished with similar high scores. Player 3 did best on this game.) Canada 6/49 Aug 10/02 unoffi

Maybe if the competition had been for 40 draws, you would have won. The trouble with most lottery programs is that they can't come up with a winner when it counts, if they could, the lotteries would
