North Carolina woman "cried all the way home" after winning "life-changing" $723,755 lottery jackpot
Didn't say how old her husband is, but if he is under 60 and without any other source of retirement income, $half a million won't be enough. Especially after giving some money to her church and maybe take a trip with her husband . Worked with two guys that split a $20 million Ohio Lotto jackpot and both had over 30 years service and filled out retirement papers on their way back from lottery headquarters. Hopefully Mr. Neely is in a similar situation.

Winning $70 million Lotto Max ticket bought in Ontario will expire in one month
Unfortunately all to many of these winning lottery tickets go unclaimed because the buyer loses the ticket. I don't know about Canada, but in some US states when someone goes to the lottery headquarters to claim the winning jackpot prize, they must have two form of ID. The names on both forms of ID must match exactly or the prize can't be claimed. Most people don't know this so showing up to lottery headquarter with names on ID's that don't match would be a shocker to find out. Also it would be

Massachusetts store clerk indicted after stealing lottery ticket worth $3 million from customer
I guess it all depends on how much the winning lottery ticket was worth. I did find a winning lottery ticket in the parking lot about a year ago, but it was only for $4. I cashed it in with no problems. There are some people who do buy lottery tickets and only care about the jackpot, anything less they don't want it. If that ticket I found in the parking lot was worth $1M or $50K, I probably would have mailed it in to lottery headquarters so, there would not be any questioned asking about where

Canadian man claims record $64 million Lotto 6/49 jackpot right before it expires
Well, well, well, and here I am checking my tickets every morning after the previous nights draw. You know why? Because I don't want to miss out on earning on my winnings. The $47.26 M would have earned the winner $2.5 M in interest if the money was invested in US 12 month treasury bills at 5.3% That is why if I win the jackpot I won't wait for 6 months or one year. I will be at the lottery headquarters the next week to collect my winning

$1.7 billion in combined jackpots, as USA multi-state lottery games peak together
It seems like when they jump up the jackpot around noonish. They're still not open yet in Headquarters from what I gather. Mr. Obsessive Compulsive (a bit) called the Colorado Lottery because they had the jackpot off about $100 million dollars. They did fix it on their website. Then two days ago the news here had the wrong jackpot. Said $997 million. Facsimile them; this time they didn't correct it next half hour but 6 p.m. news was correct.

Accusations of "disturbing" new claims procedures after Allwyn sends investigator to winner's home
That is interesting. When my wife won $2,600 on a Pick 4, she went to the local lottery office, which is also Lottery Headquarters in my state. They had her do paperwork and show ID and that was it. They cut her a check, gave her a W2G, and she was on her way. I bought the ticket for her and had to do some digging to figure out where I bought it and they didn't even ask! I haven't won big on a scratcher yet so I don't know what they do with those. I hope to find out one day.

The only thing you have to do now is sign a long print out from the terminal, you show your Drivers License and Social and the claim is done on the lottery terminal no more forms to fill out. Of course, then after that the agent pays you. PS back in 2016 they had a 10% added bonus to the prizes...I hit a P4 straight for 5K but it was $5500 with the promo so I had to go lottery headquarters to collect instead of an Agent + guess what my check was for? Back years ago like 10 years to 15 years or so...............if i remember right there were numbers hitting straight on daytime like 3 times in one month and 5 times in one to two years time straight the same numbers. I think people called the lottery headquarters and then not long after that the computer wasn't quite as bad with the repeats as it once was. If people report it the software can be changed I think............... Back then I used to post numbers for alot of states and PA. was t

Maryland woman wins $1 million in lottery two weeks after winning $50,000
Maryland Lottery sees Mrs. Millionaire claim a prize just two weeks apart By Kate Northrop A Maryland woman won $1 million just two weeks after winning $50,000 in the lottery. An anonymous Oxon Hill resident, dubbed Mrs. Millionaire to keep her identity private, made a swift return to Maryland Lottery headquarters to claim an even bigger prize since her first $50,000 win. On July 25, the 67-year-old claimed a $50,000 Pick 5 prize she won in the July 23 midday drawing. During that
