Derby..Rick G..
RE: Big Brown....I don't think he's just going to win the race, I think he'll blow them away by five or more lengths. Maddog and I both agreed after his performance in the FL Derby...this horse looks like a new Secretariat. When he's asked in the stretch he explodes. It would be dangerous to ignore him, regardless of his post position or odds. But as we all know, anything can happen in the Derby and in a 20 horse field racing luck plays a big hand. Today the track was sloppy so track conditions

Horse betting vs. Pick3
Definately the track. Even in a trifecta with a 11-horse field, you have better odds (and better payout) than pick-3.

ARCADIA, Santa Anita California
A 3-year-old colt sustained a catastrophic injury in the eighth race at Santa Anita and was euthanized Saturday, the 32nd horse to die at the track since December.
Two-time Kentucky Derby-winning jockey Mario Gutierrez was tossed off in the incident on the second day of the fall meet at Santa Anita, where the Breeders' Cup world championships are to be run in November.
Track officials said Gutierrez wasn't injured after landing near the inner rail. He wa

Massachusetts retailers resist Lottery's push for online sales
Online horse racing is basically the same as off track betting. Instead of going to a track or a betting parlor, people can play from any where using any device with an Internet connection. And it's legal in Mass.

IL Hawthorne racing meet-Exactas
You go Brdman...I like your attitude! Hey Laverne, what you were saying about the racing distances was correct. Trainers play the distance game all the time getting their horses in shape for a win, and you have to watch what distance the horse likes to win at. Thanks for mentioning that because there might be some new horseplayers who can benefit from it.Having spent thousands of hours poring over the Daily Racing Form each day for 20 some years and not winning much, I think the random way is
