I would create a new folder and copy and past all you files or just copy the main folder to a new backup folder. Of course you would not be able to run Lotsoft Pro from a folder that contains the copy. Bob, Are the Georgia Pick 4 games correct or are you still missing a Midday, Evening, or Nite game?

To all Lotsoft Pro 5 users: The FTP Live Updates have come to an end. FTP transfers to the Brinkster FTP server have ended. You may be able to perform Live Updates but you will not update any current drawings.

If unzip to your Desktop and it creates a new folder just open the folder and then copy and paste the p3.mdb and p4.mdb files into the following location (folder): C:\ProgramFiles\INW\Lotsoft\data Open Lotsoft Pro and you should have the updated draw histories for Pick 3 and Pick 4

The reason why you cannot update from the server is because you have the incorrect FTP location in your props.mdb file. Close Lotsoft Pro 1. Go to my blog and download the FREE MDB Viewer Plus (Note: you can also use Microsoft Access if installed on your computer) 2. Once the MDB Viewer Plus is installed open MDB Viewer Plus and open the following file located at C:\Program Files\INW\Lotsoft\data 3. Open the file props.mdb 4. You will need the following password to open the props.

I'm hoping your decision is to somehow keep Lotsoft Pro going, it would be a waste of excellent programming by the original author. The speed and useful detailed information it can produce is hard to come by from most other programs of this type. Plus after all the hard work you put into it over the past months, please don't through all this away. Let us users of this program know exactly (point blank) what it will take to help keep the updates going.

The Pick 3 Live Update now works for Lotsoft Pro 5. Working on updating the Pick 4 draws. Draws updated through June 3 2014.
