Soooo it looks like the Florida lottery changed the website and no longer lets us watch the recorded drawing on their website. Does that sound about right... So now we only have their youtube channel to get the results before they post them on their own website. I wish all state lotteries were required to have live drawings online. What in the world are they doing with the money that they can't even show their drawings live on their own website. Cheap b@stards!!!

I agree. The Jacksonville doctor is my scientific wild guess. I worked in data processing for over 30 years and I saw output produced from software programs that I never expected. Most times it was a bug in the code that produced erroneous results. The Florida Lottery software that creates the report could have malfunctioned, or somebody at the Florida Lottery made an honest mistake and entered the doctors name even if he wasn't the actual winner. No telling what happened. G5

The $1.725 billion number is the correct, accurate number. Most in the press including the official Powerball website and (as it was pointed out) the Lottery Post results pages have rounded that number off to $1.73 billion. USA Mega, however, always shows the full, accurate amount. And I decided to use the accurate amount in the news story here. Is that a complete accounting of the jackpot number?

The ONLY thing it doesn't do is, once I get my results anx hit copy and my results go into the pool...when I checkmark new numbers, I wish it would extract from my NEW pool instead of the original 000-999 pool. No, I backtest my strategies with states that only use ball machines. For me, it's the best way to go instead of trying to simulate randomness. Ultimately, I let people do what works for them. If your strategy is getting the results you want then forget what everyone else says/thinks. All that matters are the results you get. While I'm at it, sign the Petition for True Lottery Drawings .
