Jack Whittaker's wife regrets winning
A classic example why one show have a game plan ready in case he/she wins a big one. Making a big splash for the news media is the biggest mistake that can follow after hitting it big. Remember, no knows until you tell them first!

Group of 22 wins $12 million Lotto South jackpot
That other winning ticket was for Ohio's SuperLottoPlus, not Lotto South. The news media here is making a big deal out of the fact that 2 lottery jackpots were won here in the Cincinnati metro area on Saturday. So what if it's only 16 miles from Greenhills, OH to Covington, KY? It's still two separate lottery games from two separate states.

How is it possible?
If I were to win a large jackpot prize I would not tell the lottery or news media that I used a system. I would just tell them I randomly marked the playslip.I just read pick 4 masters last post and found the post very interesting about the system players and being secretive. Looks like Johnny 5 had one going for him until telling how.It would seem obvious to me with a payout of $500.00 straight in the pick 3 the state lotteries need 999 losers to cover that payout.

Winner without a face!
Just wondering if the winner of the big game or any otherlottery can keep their names anonymous. If your name and state have to be disclosed, does anyone think they will at least let you skip the public announcement with the pictures and news media and the big check ..LOL..LOL

$400 MILLION: Mega Millions lottery jackpot soars
Yeah, doesn't seem like any frenzy at all. It wasn't even featured in the news for this $400M JP. I guess the news media is getting jackpot fatigue too...along with the rest of the public.

Pennsylvania: 3/1 - 3/31/2012
Correct! And that is not the first time that the news media has done this. I heard on KYW1060 one day that they posted the wrong number and I didn't pay any attention to it because I go online and check with either LP or PAlottery website. Why have second hand news? Once in a lifetime? Maybe!

Study reveals online gambling led to *fewer* gambling problems
Many people in the news media are fiercely anti-gambling, and spin this story in a variety of ways. Here's an example: http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/uk/crime/article2493031.ece They are actually making things up to try and paint the story as being bad for gambling.

What would your answer be if you were asked by the news media?
Okay so I was watching that youtube clip and it was sort of funny in a way. My answer is simple. Something for me to know and the reporter to find out. The next question. Reporter: How do you pick your numbers or quick pick? ME: I can't give out all my secrets. Check out lottery post for more on this and many members. I already have ideas of what I would do. So lets see the lottery takes back 38- 42% then I forget how much the state takes.

China's beloved national lottery suspected of massive fraud
China loves its national lottery, but now some very suspicious goings-on with the game has ignited a scandal that's capturing the country's attention. As in most other places, the drawing for China's lottery the only form of gambling the government allows outside of Macau is televised nationally, conducted by the China Welfare Lottery Issuing and Management Center, an agency of the government. But something appears to have gone wrong Sunday night, when the drawing for a 50-billion-yuan ($8
