I bought two plays. The first one I picked the numbers and the second one a quick pick. So.... the quick pick gave me 3 of the same numbers and added 10 to the forth number. So I knew I had lost before it started. Yesterday I got 3 on FF so that covered me for a few draws.

So I decided to hang back, play my 2 lines I always play and a quick pick for 3 eve draws. $9. I had 3 numbers on the quick pick line. $10.50. Go figure. I like that they have changed the advance play options.

strange,i been copying winners numbers for weeks but then they don't win.the lotteries don't tell if it was a quick pick as they can put a quick pick in any state they want to win.

Are your free tickets quick picks or do they at least let you pick your own numbers? The lowest prize in CA Fantasy Five is a free quick pick for 2/5, which I agree is practically worthless. They're only good for saving up in big batches for when the jackpot rolls over several times.

Thanks. I played all my main numbers then done a couple quick picks for insurance and boom there it was. Only takes one number to win so you never know. Here was my quick pick. Only generated 2 of them and here was the winner. Won on this thing twice straight. It is my insurance of picking numbers I can't pick.

Quick Picks vs Self Picks, neither has an advantage
A few people in the News Forum asked in the thread about the $1.337 billions MM jackpot asked if the winning ticket was a self pick or a quick pick. That would be nothing more a para-experiment; not a true side by side evaluation. First, you were playing the same numbers for the self pick, but getting a new quick pick each draw. While your self pick numbers were static your quick pick numbers changed. So there wasn't an equal evaluation of two set of numbers. G

Illinois Mega Millions winners used a quick pick
Oh my gosh, the Illinois Lottery made it very difficult to get this information. The Mega Millions jackpot in question was won on July 29, 2022, and was claimed in September.
