A few years ago when an Indiana lottery security guard sent his friends to a certain town to buyout a certain game, he knew the jackpot winning ticket was in a certain town in a certain store. Players buying their tickets at any other stores at any other time didn't change that fact.

If you're talking $10K then you're thinking about covering 5-10k combinations and so far no one has come close to reducing the odds of winning a jackpot to 1:10K.

That would be like matching 5+1 with a MADDOG MM or PB challenge using 10 WB an 4 bonus ball. If someone did that several times, I would spend the $2.016K to cover all 1008 possible combinations.

While 01-02-03-04-05-06 is as likely to win a jackpot as any other combination, being one of the most played combination if it's ever drawn the jackpot is likely to be shared with several winners. However on the top predictors board, at least ten predictors over time have invested from $900 to $430000 and won more than they spent. Since only one was a premium member, nine of them did this using no more than 10 combinations per game.
