NJ Lottery announces new evening draw times and other changes

The New Jersey Lottery is modernizing its core games line-up starting June 29 with a new draw time, new way to watch, and a bigger starting jackpot for Jersey Cash 5.
The evening draw time for Pick 3, Pick 4, Jersey Cash 5, and Pick 6 is changing and moving exclusively to livestreaming. Additionally, the Jersey Cash 5 game is becoming a little harder to win, with a larger starting jackpot increasing from an estimated $75,000 to a guaranteed $100,000.

Man who beat cancer wins $100,000 second-chance lottery prize

Second-chances and luck are all-too familiar to one of North Carolina's most recent lottery winners, a cancer survivor who hails from Scotland Neck.
For Eric Alexander, his most recent victory comes as a $100,000 lottery prize win from scratch-off tickets entered in second-chance drawings.

NJ Lottery temporarily suspends sales and drawings for 5 Card Cash due to coronavirus
The New Jersey Lottery temporarily suspended sales and drawings of its 5 Card Cash, effective Monday, May 4, 2020, due to COVID-19.
The temporary suspension of 5 Card Cash is designed to protect the health and safety of Lottery employees and its customers. Not only does this game require two additional staff members to be in the office beyond the teams for other drawings, it does not permit multi-draw play or advance play so purchases are only applicable to the day they are purchased.

Colorado man wins two $1 million lottery prizes on the same day

They say persistence is key, and after 30 years of playing the same numbers in the Colorado Lottery, a man in Pueblo, Colorado, found that to be true and finally got his big reward.

Starting today, you will no longer be able to watch how the Kentucky Lottery draws its daily numbers games because the drawings now take place inside a computer program.

Oklahoma tribe says state lottery 'second chance' game violates compacts
Oklahoma's expansion of the lottery and other forms of gaming violates the compacts tribes have with the state, the Wichita and Affiliated Tribes said in a court brief filed Tuesday.
Tribes sued Gov. Kevin Stitt on Dec. 31, alleging the gaming compacts automatically renewed. A federal judge has ordered mediation over whether the compacts expired Jan. 1, as Stitt believes, and that continued operation of Class III gaming is now illegal.

7-Eleven stores to begin selling Oklahoma lottery tickets
If you're hoping to strike it rich, you will soon have another option to try your luck with the Oklahoma Lottery.
On Tuesday, 7-Eleven announced that it will begin offering Oklahoma Lottery products beginning at 6 a.m. on Feb. 24.
All lottery sales will be conducted on self-serve kiosks, which will be located at every 7-Eleven location. The self-service machines will be able to provide every product the lottery offers and have the ability to cash all tickets up to $600.
