Man to use lottery winnings to open new business
A Dodge City man plans to open his own truck repair shop with money he won playing the Kansas Lottery's Kansas Hold 'Em game. Lottery officials said in a news release 34-year-old Andew Shong stopped at HD's Sports Bar in Dodge City a couple of weeks ago to grab a beer. Maryland's lottery director resigns
Stephen Martino, the director of the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency, is leaving his job later this month to become a partner at a private law firm in Baltimore. In a letter sent to his staff Tuesday morning, Martino wrote that he informed Maryland Governor Larry Hogan's office yesterday that he is resigning his position and that his last day in office will be March 27. GTECH launches lottery developer network
GTECH Corp. has launched the lottery developer network, a game development program, which it says lays the foundation for significant advancement within the lottery industry. Idaho Lottery raffle made a millionaire tonight
By Todd Northrop The Idaho Lottery conducted its annual $1,000,000 Raffle drawing Wednesday evening, and created one instant millionaire. The winning numbers are available at Lottery Post's Idaho Lottery Results page. In addition to the $1 million top prize, there were four winners of $25,000, 250 winners of $250, 500 winners of $100, and 1,750 winners of $50. All prizes are lump-sum cash payments.
