Dallas Cowboys continue partnership with Texas Lottery

Texas Lottery players and Dallas Cowboys fans have one more reason to celebrate football season with the latest version of the Dallas Cowboys scratch-off game. The fifth version of the $5 game offers more than $29 million in instant prizes including 12 top prizes of $100,000.
To date, the Dallas Cowboys scratch-off game has resulted in $184 million in sales with $125 million in prizes awarded to winners.

7 state lotteries join forces for multi-state raffle

Seven United States lotteries will offer a first-of-its-kind multi-state raffle that goes on sale in about a week.

Connecticut Lottery chairman says keno in early stages
Connecticut lottery employees have begun discussions with bars and taverns on hosting keno terminals, but it will be months and months before the game is made available to the state's gamblers, the chairman of the state lottery's board said.

Maryland Lottery teams up with Super Bowl champs
The Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency (MLGCA) and the Baltimore Ravens have joined forces for the fifth year in a row. The Board of Public Works yesterday approved the contract, which will include the Ravens Champions $2 scratch-off ticket. The contract gives the Lottery the rights to use the Ravens logo, marks and experiential prizes.

New Tri-State lottery game debuting Sunday

A new pick 5-style lottery game called Gimme 5 goes on sale Sunday in Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont the states that collectively are known as 'Tri-State'.

Editor's Note: Lottery Post first reported details of the new national game under consideration nine months ago (Lottery leaders convene in D.C. to discuss future of games, Lottery Post, Apr. 26, 2012). It seems the rest of the media is finally catching up.

Delaware Lottery adds Keno to lineup
Delaware's latest effort to squeeze state revenues out of an increasingly competitive regional gambling market launched Tuesday with the activation of Keno instant lottery terminals at 81 bars, restaurants and other private businesses.
The state expects the new game to bring in $1 million by June 30, a small slice of the $238 million forecasters estimate will be generated by all other forms of legal gambling in the state this fiscal year.

The Arizona Lottery announced a new draw game called Weekly Winnings, which launches Saunday, Sept. 23, and offers a top prize of $1,000 per week for an entire year, taxes paid.
