Four drawings per day starting Sept. 9 By Todd Northrop In a few weeks, Texas Lottery players will have twice as many opportunities per day to play the Pick 3 and Pick 4 games. A suspicious package near a Texas Lottery facility on Monday night forced a delay of the nightly drawing and the reporting of the results, officials said Tuesday. The winning ticket to Wednesday night's Powerball drawing worth about $40 million was sold in an East Texas town, a first for the Lone Star state, lottery officials said.
