Lump Sum V.S 26 Year
Why would you do that? Why borrow when you can Bank on yourself ? Borrow from yourself for 6% interest, then you earn 6% interest on your money instead of the bank earning 6% on your money. Besides, when you look at the current administration, your future annutity payments might be taxed at 60% or more. Annuity is lose lose right now.

Obama Admin. working on 90% tax on lottery?
I haven't heard that. About the 90% tax, what I have heard was that - Obama administration was considering 90% tax on the bonuses paid to the executives of the companies who received federal bail-out money. The reason behind was those companies (like AIG, Citi) received billions of dollars from the tax payers money, and used that money to pay millions to their top executive. Obama administration was outrageous on that, and asked the executives to return the bonuses. Most did return, some did ...

Feds freeze online poker champ's winnings
Whether you know it or not, these laws that give the Feds the power to take this money were enacted during the BUSH administration and the Clinton administration. Obama has nothing to do with this. You small minded embiciles blame everything on him. It is as if nothing was wrong or happened until he became President and for your information, they were millionaires BEFORE he became President. I am sure they can afford the cost of the trip!!

N.J. Lottery to add Powerball?
Wow!!! That would be a dream come true for lottery players. However, I don't think MM is just going to say, OK. There will be a lot of talking among administration for both games and NJ in the future. And dare I say lawyer activity... Fun stuff!

online gaming
I was just reading a post from '06 in the News forum, where U.S. politicians spoke of online betting games as not belonging in U.S. living rooms and being harmful to U.S. families. I think with the old and nasty administration ways about to (potentially)drastically change, people like you and I have better odds at being heard and understood by the lawmakers who are supposed to work for us. I DEFINITELY say they should stop trying to end online gaming and in fact they should reverse ...

Mega at 207 - cash prize is still 68%
Yeah, this is all on the Bush administration, none of this stuff has been in the works since the 90s if not the 80s or 70s nor has the Democrats played any role into it.

Do you still feel the same about Cash Option or Annuity??
Cash! What if the elected administration decides to do something like tax lottery annuities at a higher and higher rate every year? I'm just saying.... Someone here has or had a sig: You can always buy a better annuity... and you'd do that by taking cash!
