What the story behind your user name on the LP
It's the name I was already using on a sports betting (make-believe bets) website, and what football games start with. I figure that picking lottery numbers comes down to a coin toss, so thus the name.

Del. bettors can wager up to $3K in sports lottery
The Delaware sports betting lottery starting this week will allow gamblers to plunk down a couple of bucks, or a few thousand, on NFL teams, officials said Tuesday. Minimum wagers in the new lottery, which starts Thursday, will be $2. The maximum wager, depending on the type of bet, will be $3,000. For each wager, bettors must pick the correct outcomes of at least three NFL games, called parlay bets, or as many as 12. A federal appeals court ruled that the lottery must be restricted to ...

The most successful system in LotteryPost history
Broulir32 The most successful system for any game is being the house and letting the players pick their own losers. I worked in Vegas for many years and besides the house in all that time I knew one guy who did pretty good at sports betting. But he didn't exactly bet, he just booked other people's action. Example: Dallas is 6 1/2 over Green Bay, who do you like? So people would bet with him (same rules, pointspread and 11 to win 10) and he always had a winning sesaon. He never mad ...

A federal appeals court today blocked Delaware's bid to open sports betting Sept 1. A three-judge panel of the Third Circuit Court of Appeals decided that Delaware's plans violate a 1992 federal ban on sports gambling. The professional leagues and the NCAA sued Delaware in June, but the case is not scheduled to be heard until December. The leagues asked the court for an emergency injunction to halt the betting. Delaware is one of four states that had sports gambling prior to a federal b ...

Internet gambling bill awaits house vote
Congress should create a framework to regulate Internet gambling as away to protect consumers and collect billions in much-needed federalrevenue. Protecting consumers is crap. They just want to stick their foot in it. This is money driven. But I hope it pass. It's interesting that it's horse and dog racing and whatever jai alai is and not sports betting. Like people are not going to continue to do sport betting. How are they going to tell what people are betting on when it's time to make dep ...

Delaware legalizes sports betting
Gambling is gambling, regardless of what kind. I don't see as to how sports betting can be worse than lottery gambling or bad in some way. Why would lottery gambling be O.K. to do and sports betting not? Why would lottery gambling be Clean and sports betting UnClean ? Isn't stocks trading gambling?
