An Irishman is still claiming disability benefits in the UK after winning over $16 million in the lottery.
Michael O'Shea, who grew up in Co. Kerry and resides in Nottingham, made headlines in October 2005 when he and his wife Jean won 10.2 million on the Euro Millions lotto jackpot.

Ireland's national television broadcaster is hoping the country's newest Lotto millionaire hasn't thrown away their winning ticket after watching the live drawing broadcast on Saturday night.

Tesco Ireland, the Irish arm of supermarket group Tesco, is to give away a 500,000 (US$713,000) Euro Millions prize it won by accident on April Fool's Day.

Ireland Lottery draws two €1 million raffle winners

The Ireland Lottery conducted its annual Christmas raffle drawing Friday, awarding two grand prizes of 1 million (US$1.3 million) and many smaller cash prizes.
A complete list of winning numbers for the drawing can be found at Lottery Post's Ireland Lottery Results page.
