Forgotten lottery ticket worth $250,000
A lottery ticket tucked away in a wallet for months turned out to be a winner, worth $250,000.
Michael Johnson, of Lexington, Ky., bought the Mega Millions ticket during a business trip to metro Atlanta back in February.
He slipped the lottery ticket into his wallet and forgot about it.
Last week he found the three-month old ticket, checked the numbers, and found out he was holding a winning ticket.

Ohio Mega Millions lottery winner claims prize anonymously
The owner of a winning Mega Millions ticket claimed their prize Friday.
But the identity of the winner won't be made public after two attorneys claimed the prize on behalf of a blind trust which Ohio law allows.

Rocco Derrigo said his wife, Jean, convinced him to play the lottery regularly.

Man claims he's owed Mega Millions in suit against Illinois Lottery
An East St. Louis man says the Illinois Lottery Control Board refused to pay him for a winning lottery ticket.
Johnnie Cooper filed suit April 14 in St. Clair County Circuit Court against Illinois Lottery Control Board.
Cooper says he purchased a lottery ticket on Aug. 28, 2007.
