Georgia man turns trashed ticket into $250,000
Andrew Hunter, 24, turned his trash into cash when he picked up a discarded Mega Millions ticket.
When he realized he won $3 dollars for matching one number plus the Mega Ball number, he retrieved the ticket from the dumpsters at the end of his driveway and headed to the Quik Trip, 1655 Buford Highway in Cumming, Georgia.

Louisiana Lottery may add Mega Millions next year
With the price of a Powerball ticket slated to increase from $1 to $2 starting next year, state lottery officials are betting that adding a second multi-state jackpot game will help draw in additional revenue. The game, Mega Millions, is offered in 41 states, plus the District of Columbia and the Virgin Islands.
