Reflecting bad times, some lotteries hit losing streak
State lotteries are down on their luck as players cut back on games of chance.
From California, where sales for the past year are down 5%, to Florida, where sales slipped 7%, fewer people are gambling on scratch-off tickets and numbers games.

The Minnesota Lottery selected the winning numbers Thursday for its special Millionaire Raffle drawing.
The full set of winning numbers are available on Lottery Post's Minnesota Lottery Results page (www.lotterypost.com/results/mn).
Millionaire Raffle is the third annual holiday raffle game from the Minnesota State Lottery.

Minn. Lottery to add Gopher 5 drawing
Schedule will change days of week starting next Monday
The Minnesota State Lottery announced they will begin holding a third weekly drawing for their Gopher 5 game.
Starting Oct. 6, drawings will be held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Previously, drawings have been held on Tuesdays and Fridays, which is as it's been since the game was inaugurated in 1991.

A middle-aged couple from Waseca County in southern Minnesota is expected to come forward today and claim the largest Powerball prize ever won in the state.

Minn. Lottery office hears from $180M Powerball winner
Officials at the Minnesota State Lottery headquarters said today they have heard from someone who claims to be holding the winning Powerball ticket from Saturday's drawing that's worth $180.1 million.
But nothing is official until that person comes forward and presents the ticket for certification at the lottery's Roseville office, a lottery spokeswoman said.
