Virginia Lottery unveils Redskins scratch tickets
The Virginia Lottery and the Washington Redskins unveiled a new $50,000,000 Redskins Mania scratch ticket that will go on sale in August, in time for the start of the 2009 football season.
This is one of the first to be launched by a state lottery and an NFL team, according to a news release from the Virginia Lottery, taking advantage of a new NFL rule that allows teams to sign licensing deals with state-sponsored lotteries.

Players can get credit for Iowa lottery error
The Iowa Lottery says it will pay qualified players after an operator error on its computer system vendor interrupted its Big Beepin' Deal promotion.
Officials say any player who made a qualifying purchase on Sunday, Monday and part of Tuesday can receive a $20 bonus by mailing the ticket to the lottery.
