  Please forgive me for posting this information here but I couldn't get the "News" section to take it.

  For those of you who haven't heard, we (The American Indians) now have a brand new Museum here in the DC area.

  For those of you that are interested, you can go to: www.americanindian.si.edu and take a take a look.

  This new National Museum of the American Indian is absolutely awesome, and well worth a visit if you're ever in the DC area.

  Also, for those who might be interested in becoming a Member, you can do that too.

  I'm sure it's an interesting place, but you have to have mixed feelings about a government museum to native peoples the US has spent the past 300 years lying to, stealing from, impoverishing, breaking treaty after treaty with, and exterminating.  Not that the native americans don't deserve a museum; just not one run by the same government who destroyed them.
