Pac will have to answer this...but do you play these for 7 days and then start over? Or would you continually change the numbers? The North Carolina Education Lottery - so much a joke that here are their mascots:

To be slightly ahead of even with 280 combinations over 7 days, you have to hit a straight 3 out of 7 days, or 43% of the time, using only 28% of the combinations. Actually that would be a nice profit every week of $370 betting 50 cents a ticket, but it's alot of money to bet doing it. | | $1 | $0.50 | $0.25 | | online $ won/straight | $900 | $450 | $225 | | 7 day cost 280 plays/day | $1,960 | $980 | $490 | | $$$ won if 1 straight/day | $6,300 | $3,150 | $1,575 | | profit if 1 straight/day | $4,340 | $2,170 | $1,085 | | minimum (3 wins) $$ won | $2,700 | $1,350 | $675 | | minimum profit/7 days | $740 | $370 | $185 |
Maybe I could just play my own system with that many bets, or fewer, hoping for a hit every other day or so. I'll have to try that, on paper of course. Only those who attempt the absurd can achieve the impossible.

Yes, it would have to average over the long haul 2.177 hits per 7-day period to break-even. Then come the progressions ;) The North Carolina Education Lottery - so much a joke that here are their mascots:

I'm rounding my straight hit count up to get the numbered needed. Okay, I've got my best 210 picks, all different straights, excluding the 10 triples, for Texas. There are 220 combinations, of course, and my spreadsheet picks out the top straight pick for each one. A box is near certain , but playing for straights . I would only have to hit a straight 2 times in 7 days to break even. That's 28.6% of the time with 21% of the numbers. Smaller profit, but maybe a better chance of hitting it. | | $1 | $0.50 | $0.25 | | online $ won/straight | $900 | $450 | $225 | | 7 day cost 210 plays/day | $1,470 | $735 | $368 | | $$$ won if 1 straight/day | $6,300 | $3,150 | $1,575 | | profit if 1 straight/day | $4,830 | $2,415 | $1,208 | | minimum (2 wins) $$ won | $1,800 | $900 | $450 | | minimum profit/7 days | $330 | $165 | $83 |

Pac will have to answer this...but do you play these for 7 days and then start over? Or would you continually change the numbers? Wow, I went away for an hour or so, and you've got a spreadsheet already. Thanx cps, and all those who responded. Yes to your question, you have new numbers on the 8th day to play for the next 7 days. I didn't back test this for long periods, just one week, so it could be a fluke with so many wins in one week. Question, cps, what do I do with the spreadsheet? I saw it but have no clue on how to generate numbers. Thanx...
