They can make mistake of the wrong drawing(midday instead of evening), wrong numbers, wrong order of numbers etc....
Ok I have had this happen recently and ended up buying them anyway plus the ones that I wanted.
Thanks and Good Luck IF AT FIRST YOU DON'T SUCCEED TRY N TRY AGAIN

Thanks and Good Luck If a mistake was made after I handed the clerk my playslip it would have to be because of a malfunctioning machine.I'd take it as an omen.I'd insist that the numbers on my playslip be entered by hand, though.I'd just end up with two sets of number for that game.

Absolutely yes. Imagine hearing someone else won from that store by buying a mistake ticket, you would always wonder if it was your ticket that you turned down. I consider it a possible fortunate mistake.

Fate and destiny steps into your life in whatever form is appropriate. I'd never turn that away; Of course I'd also purchase my orignal tickets as well. That would be just one of those times that i'd purchase more than my budgeted amount.

Funny, this happened to me last week. For some reason the machine would not read my Cash 5 playslip, and the clerk entered my # by hand, but she got one of the # wrong. She couldn't cancel the ticket so I just played that one without buying my intended numbers. Turns out it didn't matter either way, none of the numbers hit. But I did think maybe it was fate so I wasn't upset about it.

I always buy the mistake ticket. You never know. My friend won a pick 4 straight off a mistake ticket that no one else wanted to buy.

Sometimes..depends. At 7-11 I once asked for 5 QPs for Fantasy 5 and got Lotto. Why should I spend an extra $5? I'm pretty easy-going, so I didn't play Fantasy 5 and just bought the Lotto tickets so I wouldn't hold up the line and nothing hit, not even 3 numbers. Now I never say "Quick Pick" when I play my numbers. If I want a QP I fill out a card and check the box. Just a side note..last time I did that, the clerk at Publix noticed and told me I didn't have to use a card for a QP. She was only trying to be helpful, but I remember when the same clerk ran an extra QP and then said not to cancel it because "it's bad luck." That also didn't win anything.
