I noticed something after constructing the sheet. There are actually 3 sets of numbers. Prime, Secondary, and the new one which I call it "Black Sheep" (the remaining numbers, in black).
When looking at Prime and Secondary for the 5 of 5, on average there are 2 per month.
When looking at Secondary and Black Sheep for 5 of 5, on average there are 2.5 per month.
When looking at Prime and Black Sheep for 5 of 5, on average there are 8.8 per month.
Primary: 03,06,09,10,13,16,19,20,23,26,29,30,33,36,39 = 15 numbers total
Secondary: 12,15,18,21,24,27,28,37 = 8 numbers total
Black Sheep: 1,2,4,5,7,8,11,14,17,22,25,31,32,34,45,38 = 16 numbers total
To get the most jackpot hits per month Prime and Black Sheep offers the most. These two sets made up of 31 numbers, that's quite a lot of numbers to wheel. However, since the jackpot are governed by these three set of numbers (Primary, Secondary, and Black Sheep), we are limited on the amount of chances for the jackpot by their appearence together in two sets (Prime + Secondary, or Prime + Black Sheep, or Secondary+ Black Sheep). When playing the lowest numbers total, which is Primary + Secondary, we are still limited by its produce of 5 of 5. With this set combo there's still 1 in 33,649 for 2 chances for jackpot per month (on average).
With the filtering system and combine of cold fusion we can get Primary and Black Sheep down to 23 numbers to wheel from. That will give us the same odd 1 in 33,649 for 8.8 chances for the jackpot per month. Since Primary and Secondary combo have lesser number than Primary and Black Sheep combo there isn't much room for reduction of numbers. While Primary and Black Sheep offer a bit more room for reduction.
Basically, we are trying to get better chance in jackpot wins with Primary and Black Sheet over other sets, and still play with the same winning odd.
I am going to look closely at Primary and Black Sheep, this is a combo that's best gives more jackpots per month knowing I have 8.8 chance per month worth spending money on. Now, the filtering system and cold fusion have to work for this to happen, so I'll be posting up some lines and throw at the next results to see what we get.
Any thoughts, guys?
