 I always thought that an  85 or 90 % reduction in the 1000 numbers chart would be enough ........but NO !  

  I still just can't bring myself to play more than 100 straight numbers per game.....and thats a problem.

  After applying a 1000 draw time filter ..... and a positional digits filter the reduction is dramatic....but still just too many numbers to play on a regular basis.

  The 145 Straights left standing after an 85.3 % reduction of the 1000 potential straights.   

  Below are the straights left as potential numbers for the GA Midday P3 game today. The straight 645 was the winning number.

  Even if we are able to further reduce the total numbers still standing at the end of all our filters ...... it can never have  more than a 72% success rate .....because of the Doubles.   

 .....Here is an observation that deserves attention. It's along the same lines as the positional filters .

     Normally there are 263 Single number hits per year .....and around 98 or 99 double hits....plus 3 trips. (average)

      Using just the Single numbers during the year ...... going form just single to single numbers we can say the following:

          Tracking Single to Single numbers only.... you would be hard pressed to find 3 draws in a row of ZERO digit returns.

    Again...this does not take doubles into account at all....it is going from one single number to the next. Tracking Ga eve I found only one instance of this happening.

   With only one exception....  2 draws in a row ....of No digit returns was the max I found in the 266 singles in the last 365 draws.

  As you can see above ....the 154 was a repeat of 586.

  The 154 did repeat from 586 

   The 408 did not repeat...nor the 512 ..     The 9,7,3, Must Repeat tonight....other wise it would be 3 non repeat singles in a row.

 Since this has only happened one other time in the last 266 single draws.... betting on a repeat digit or two here would be a good idea.   

The deduction has sound reasoning in the math.

If the previous day's drawing contained three different numbers there are 343 combinations that do not contain any of the three numbers and 657 combinationss that do.
If the previous day's drawing contained a double there are 512 conbinations that do not contain any of the two numbers and 488 combinations that do.
If the previous day's drawing was a triple there are 729 combinations that do not contain that number and 271 combinations that do.

I'll leave it to you to do the math for the odds of this happening on consecutive days.....

   Even though you may have a high reduction method, the thing to look at is .....what is your percentage of error in using that reduction technique. If you have a 99.99% reduction method with 100% error.....well I think you know what I mean. This is the pitfall of alot of systems being posted at the LP.

 One of these Double or Single number Straights should hit around every 3rd draw in CA Eve.

  The only filter applied so far here is a form of a 1000 draw time filter ...using a 3 year/365 draw schedule. 

 In general... most P-3 games will have a similiar amount of OLD Straights still standing using a similar time filter. 

 So.... we have ruffly a 66% straight number reduction using this one filter with a 33% success rate ....on average. If ,, we played em' all each draw. 

 Still .... not a bad place to start each draw.

          Using a particular "Positional Filter" we have discussed on the Systems forum before ..... we can apply that as our second filter. We should be able to get an additional reduction of around another 50%. 

 The positional filter relies on the fact that Most single numbers will repeat at least one or Two  digits in the next draw.... MOST of the time. Single to Single number.  Skipping doubles.  

 This positional filter works around 51% of the time using Single to Single numbers ...... and around 66% of the time using both Singles and Doubles together.

 Most of the time...... repeating digits     " Do not repeat on top of themselves"  

   Hence the statement .....           The Positional Filters work ....... " Most of the Time"  

haha not only CA  FL is very similar, I guess its the hot weather good job do

Get your 100 or so exact order str8s and look into your sytems tracking for exact order prs filter.

 Thanks for the replies everyone ..... and John..... thanks for the printout.

 Noticed that CA had a Straight hit off the list ....a little early. 

  I really wish I could take advantage of some of the more obvious filters at the right times ...... after the fact they always seem so completely obvious .....of course.  Perhaps.....if I were smarter it would be obvious before hand. 

  I always think to myself......  If a smart person had the same information I had worked on at the time .....he could have won.  The system takes over.....and gets more of the focus ....than actually winning.

   The smart bet...... doing insurance bets etc ....that is a big problem with me.  "Good" Bets ......sometimes even large bets ........are actually more conservative plays than small ones..... in certain cases. My conservative nature blinds me to many good opportunities. Sometimes going for a BOX win .....is the smart play...not chasing straights.  

    Pick 3 seems more of a players hobby game than a betting game anyway. Such terrible odds we're up against!  Pick 3 is 17 times worse odds than any Vegas slot machine limits. It's actually against the law in Vegas for casinos to set the payouts any lower.......but not the Government run games.  LOL
