Can we eliminate the number 8 in Texas Pick 3 Night draw for 10/12?
I'm new to the forum but have studied Texas Pick 3 for two years now and noticed a trend with #8 that's possibly "too hot" for tonight's draw. All numbers, strategies, winnings, etc happen in patterns that are separated by skips between the hits. Here's our current skip pattern for Pick 3 Night digits 0 to 9:
#0: Currently Out 1, Previous skips: 14 1 0 3 0 0 0 1 2 1 3 1 0 0 3 0 1
#1: Currently Out 7, Previous skips: 1 1 12 1 0 0 0 2 0 0 1 0 0 4 2 0 1
#2: Currently Out 1, Previous skips: 1 6 1 0 0 1 3 4 1 3 3 0 7 0 7 5 1
#3: Currently Out 0, Previous skips: 2 0 3 10 0 1 5 3 1 3 1 5 4 2 5 9 1
#4: Currently Out 4, Previous skips: 1 6 0 8 5 3 5 2 4 4 4 1 3 2 3 0 0
#5: Currently Out 2, Previous skips: 0 1 0 5 0 1 5 1 2 2 5 1 2 6 1 3 2
#6: Currently Out 0, Previous skips: 6 1 5 1 0 3 7 0 0 9 5 1 3 2 0 0 4
#7: Currently Out 1, Previous skips: 2 3 1 6 0 3 11 4 4 3 1 1 1 3 3 2 1
#8: Currently Out 2, Previous skips: 2 0 1 2 2 1 2 0 4 1 8 5 0 11 0 1 15
#9: Currently Out 0, Previous skips: 6 9 3 2 5 4 2 2 2 5 0 1 6 1 7 15 1
The median of all the skips is 2, meaning the majority of repeating skips is confined to skips 0 and 1, with an equal number of skips more widely distributed above the median (the average maximum skip for any digit is 22 games out). The number 8 is currently out 2 games with what appears to be too many recent hits on the median of 2. In the last three weeks it has hit FOUR times on a skip of two, a feat that is normally only accomplished by skips 0 and 1. A hit tonight would give the number 8 FIVE hits on a skip of 2 in the last three weeks, not to mention a couple of double 8's that were mixed in there.
Of course this is the lottery and as sure as I give reasons for a number not to hit it will, LOL. But eliminating one digit from all positions reduces 1000 straight combinations down to 729. Eliminate 2 digits and you're down to 512 combinations.
Guess we'll see what happens!
