As I think of the online playing at the site I mentioned earlier; a $1.00 pic 3 ticket will cost $2.00 and they pay $900 resulting in a $100 lost to me, but a $100 income to them. I think I stick to walking to the store and buy my ticket. For someone not near a store this may be a good way for them to play. If you think you can or if you think you can't you are right! Both online places charge $1.00 for a Pick-3 straight play and pay $900 for a win, $400 more then the state pays.
- If you play the numbers 1-2-3 Straight, your payout would be 900 to 1. (A $1.00 wager would payout $900, a 25¢ wager would payout $225.)
IMO: This is because they can book their own p-3. You pay more when they have to pay someone to go out and buy tickets for the big jackpot games. If the state went online they would still pay $500 on a $1.00 straight play, for tax reasons if nothing else.

BobP The $2 that it cost to play online resulting in a $900 payout will resullt in a $1000 payout offline. I will not need the online service, I can get tickets without the service. If you think you can or if you think you can't you are right! Today could be the day!

Lottery should embrace technology and offer it online. It will cost lots on their end at start, however, they will make 100x the money back with a better reach to players.
