I feel very, very sick. Found out this morning i missed 1 MILLION by a single digit................... So does that mean that you did win the 10k? I know the feeling of being close. I've never mentioned it here but on 9/3/05 the jackpot was ten million bucks...I hit 4 numbers and was off on one single digit on the other 2 numbers. And they were numbers that I often played as well. One of those things you never forget. Sorry, man. Sucks to be that close. I've taken it easy on the scratch offs actually...hit that hundo on the Monopoly and just laid low...be back at it again soon..... and yes, let's finish off this year with SOMEONE on this board hitting a TOP PRIZE!!! | | |

HA!!! Got a laugh out of this and wanted to share it: Lottery rep was at my favorite Publix the other day for a promotion--lottery players who played any of the online games (the draw games) received a free $2 holiday scratch off for every online game ticket they bought through the instant machines. The promotion was to draw attention to the fact that you can buy the online games through the machines, etc..... so I figured I'd play 2 powerball tickets in order to get 2 free scratch offs.....stand in this line and the guy in front of me buys $40 worth of powerball tickets through the machine, enough to get all the remaining free scratch offs the lottery rep had in his hands... The lotto rep looks at me, shrugs, and says "Sorry, Sir." HA!!!!! At least my Irish are heading to the National Championship, cause luck isn't on my side lately!!! HA!!! GO IRISH!!! | | |

Total coincidence OldSchoolHits that I just joined the site before your post. As you can see by my name I am fellow ND fan. I plan to head to Miami with or without a ticket. This is my first post. I have been lurking for a couple months since I found this site. I pretty much just read the scratch-off threads. I'm not a big player but I do enjoy reading others' experiences. You guys have scared me away from the $25 Millionaire game. I have only purchased 3 tix and 2 were winners of $25 and $30. I do like the odds on the Raffle going on now. Go Irish!! | | |
