Do you do it for extra money (extra income to pay bills)? Or do you do it for fun and what you win you use to spend on yourself or family members, like a vacation or something like that? I have been playing everyday now for about a week or so. I am doing quite well with the scratch of tickets. I won 100 dollars on a 20 dollar scratch off ticket I was so happy. Doing well on the 2 and 3 dollar tickets also. I also play my fantasy 5 every day. Won 1 free ticket so far. I am also wondering how much a day or week on average are you spending? Thanks,  Pam

I play for a couple reasons. I like to think it's a hobby for me. I'm not really into expensive clothes, fancy jewelry & materialistic things, so this is my hobby for fun. I'm a family man, and my MAIN reason for playing is to win $1 Mil + so I can stash it away for my kids future

I take care of my family & the only thing I really treat myself to is playing the lottery & my Audi. Those are my hobbies & I have fun doing it =)

I used to play scratch offs quite regularly, but now I mainly play Jackpot games such as Fantasy 5, Mega $ & PowerBall. There is just something about picking my own #s and the gratification of winning. It gives me a feeling of accomplishment. When I win a jackpot game, I want it to be from #'s that I strategically picked.

    That is all

BTW - Welcome to Lottery Post & Good luck to you!

I budget to play the lottery, with Fantasy 5 and Daily Derby being my favorite games and I've tried my hand on a few of the newer scratchers, since there are a lot of the top prizes left to win/claim. However, I've stalled in winning lately, missing by 1 digit or just winning smaller pay offs or free replays, which is quite frustrating.  Unhappy

If I am blessed to win a large jackpot, I would treat my family, especially my dad who is on diaylsis and chemo treatments to a paid vacation of his choice.

I play because it is cheaper than going to Las Vegas or the indian casino but I am beginning to feel perhaps I should start to cut my lottery budget in half and try my luck there if it doesn't turnaround soon with the CA Lottery.

I play for a couple of reasons, I like the challenge of trying to piece together the secret "code". LOL also, I play for entertainment because, honestly thinking about it what the heck would I do with a couple million $'s? other then pay off bills and take care of my immediate family.

I play in hopes of winning enough money to finance construction of a fence along our northern border.

When I say "northern border" I am referring to, of course, Tennessee's northern border with Kentucky.

We need a fence there and we need it now.

You need to have a hobby so you don't get bored.

                      I would suggest binge drinking.

Yes, no one will like you but you won't care.

I have found it to be deeply rewarding.

Thanks B$Rizzle but let's be honest, who wouldn't love to have the whole state of Kentucky just fenced in and forgotten about?

We could just dig tunnels under it to get from one decent state to another decent state.
