Currently, very little at the current price of $1.00 a play.

Even less when it goes to $2.00 a play.

My vote is 0 draws because my guesses changes from time to time. Besides, California doesn't have Powerball.

I budget tickets into my monthly income for both the jackpot games and state lottery.  I have tried to cut back on how many tickets I buy per draw so it is working so far.  I plan on doing it all year long.  With only one ticket I don't think I will be getting that many wins but at least I am in the game for every draw and who knows.  I might get lucky you never know but not likely.  Good luck to all who play!-weshar75

hmm, not much activity here considering many of you are indicating you would start playing at the beginning jackpot level of $40 Million for the new game in the other Poll.

Powerball at $2.00 - What jackpot level do you start playing?

Like all things this is subject to change.

My current plan is to set aside the usual $3 to $5 I spent to play PB at the $1 level for future use.
When I feel I have enough in the jar, so to speak, to be able to buy 10 $2 tickets, I'll play, using
            my Substitution Lottery system.

The size of the jackpot isn't that important.

            Good luck!

I use to play Powerball from the start, but at $2 a ticket, but not anymore. At $100M I might buy 1 ticket while I'm buying my Hoosier Lotto tickets. At $200M, I'll go ahead and buy 2 tickets.

Im almost a non-player when it comes to PB/MM. I would play if it got to 200-300  million, but only one ticket. I also agree the jackpot size doesnt matter- though they d like to draw you in with it- the 20m to 40 m. Initially , Id be on a spending spree  but   then Id  get a plan to make it last- securing retirement.

                  MzDuffleBagLady,

The Mo stats on MO Prized and MP Power Play Prizes are quite revealing in regards to the difference between the extra dollar being played or not. Now that the ticket price has went to $2 I think we'll see even a wider gap between Power Play YES and Power Play NO.

It's Lotto, not horseshoes or artillery!
                  Close doesn't count!

I sell everything at a loss but make up for it in volume
