Yes, as i get older i need to stay away from the heat. Gotta watch out for heat stroke...lol

There arent many lakes and good flowing rivers in Taiwan. You need to get out to the sea for some good fishing here.

They have some man-made ponds (more like pools) made more for gambling, with some very nice sized carp! I actually enjoyed fishing those big carp! Recently closed a few down in my area for  new buidings and homes going up so unless i head to the sea, i cant get out fishing much these days.

           That is so sad to hear they are filling in lakes and ponds just for building houses and buildings !! Destroying the Eco. System  Go to the mountains with a stream or small river for freash water fishing and shade trees for cover . I know how you feel about getting old and not handling the Heat . Carp fishing sounds like fum to me !!!

No, these were man-made ponds or pools made for business. You pay a fee, fish for 3 hours and see how many kilos you catch. Then they pay you out per kilo. It kinda became a way of gambling for people. But i went coz i just love fishing!! And was close by.

Yes, i can go find a small stream up in the mountains which is close by to me also. But small streams mean small fish!! lol Yeah i know its fishing, but if the fish arent worth it, then i wont go.

 Its all about Money !! The land is more valuable as Comm. or Res. So you had to pay twice just to fish !! I've been to many strams and small rivers and thought the same thing and got a surprise fishing there . Them small fish grow in to large fish too ... That the key nobody goes their and you have all these great fishing spots . That no ones has fished in 40 plus years ..

NY TAKE 5 RESULTS  5/28/12

My wife said she wanted to go to Home Depot and buy some flowers for the patio, so I went along for the ride.  I asked her to pull in to a convenience store near The HD so I could get Take5.  She says for me to buy a dozen eggs while I'm in there, so in the store I go.

I get the eggs, and fill out a T5 play slip for 3 lines for tonites drawing, and have the clerk ring me up.  He does it, and says "$16.67". I looked at him for a second, and thought to myself "Those are some pretty expensive eggs."  So I asked him why so much..to my mind the total should have been more like $4.50.

He says; "It's the lottery ticket.  It's $15.00"  Something must have happened when he ran the slip through the machine because the play slip wasnt marked for 5 drawings.  So I say "I just wanted to play $3.00"  He says "No problem" and almost ran the slip in again.  But then all of a sudden it hit me, and I said "Forget it, I'll take that ticket". 

I've read posts from savvy players here on The LP, and they always say "If the clerk or the terminal makes a mistake when you're buying the ticket, never refuse it, buy it".  I've been playing T5 for 3 years pretty regularly, but that's the first time anything like that has happened to me.

So Fiesty and Cajun, I'm playing a few of your lines for the next five days.......

Sure hope your dart landed on the right line for your multi-play, cause even though it would have only gotten you a 3/5 it could have at least paid for itself! 

Was out all day and didn't get a chance to come on here and say keep the numbers for another day since the previous draw was all around my picks!  Helka I hope you stuck with them!
