Thanks Kap, but I dunno if it was such a good idea or not.... wheels are only as good as the numbers you picked to include in your wheel. If the numbers you selected to include in your wheel don't come out, your wheel sucks! That's the same situation as when I don't use a wheel... my lines suck cuz they don't have any winning numbers on them!
I wheeled a set of 12 numbers. But of the five winning numbers that came out last nite, I only had the 36 in my set of 12. So while I had it, the end result was that I had one number on five out of the twelve lines I played.
I learned a few things about wheels last night. For instance, now I know why the columnists from Lotto News say they create their wheels using 18 numbers. That's almost half of all 39 T5 numbers. There's a pretty good chance they'll have three of the five winning numbers in their set of 18. The downside of playing an 18 number wheel is that could easily get expensive to play all the combo's you need to play to get some 3 of 5 wins.
Wheels in general are expensive, but they don't have to be. But the smaller amount of numbers that you wheel, while it wont cost a player a lot of money, the numbers in the wheel had better be the right ones, or you're toast.
The net of it all? While wheels do work, I don't think their for casual players like me. If you're a player that wants (and can afford) to play hundreds of lines, then using an 18 number wheel is a very smart way to go.
I did better in Monopoly Millionaires Club. There was a JP winner last nite, so 14 one million dollar prizes were awarded. Three of the fourteen were sold in New York. The numbers where: NY 5381-0037-5511 NY 5341-0033-2433 and NY 5381-0037-4750. I had NY 5381-0037-4864, so I think I was close. But I don't know if they generate those numbers sequentially at the time the ticket is printed or not, so maybe I wasn't close at all. I'll probably play this game some more, but only when the JP is high like it was last night. G5
