She came by the past couple of days and bought more packs. So here is the breakdown from what she's told me. This is news to me since this is the first time I've had the same player buy packs so often within such a short period of time. We're on friendly terms too so I don't feel uncomfortable talking to her about her results.
Since last Friday, she's purchased a total of 8 packs of the $20 tickets. Like I said in my last post, her first pack came back with $340 in winners. She then bought another 20 tickets.
Monday she came back with ~$340 in winners and bought another pack, but this time she went with the older $20 ticket, $5M Jackpot ticket. She came back in today and apparently she's bought another pack this morning. This morning she won $750+, getting lucky with one ticket being a $500 winner. The tickets that I cashed today, she ended up winning $345. Hope this all makes sense.
She told me that her average is about $340-360, which is about what I told her it would be, unless you get lucky and get a $500+ winner in there. She also said that every pack has had 10-12 winners per pack, which works out ~30% win rate, which falls pretty close in line with the advertised odds on the back.
We talked more about how her new pace of purchasing packs isn't sustainable and that she should probably go back to her old pace, which was buying one tickets from every roll of the $20 and $10 tickets. When she does this, she usually spends ~$140-200.
