Well, you've all heard me say this before...Number 1 shows up most as the first digit in Jackpot games. That goes for Pick 5 and Pick 6. But how do we start making combos by just knowing this one number?
To those of you who have been working on your numbers for years, you've probably done this yourself. If you're new to jackpot games...I hope you'll use some of this information to start thinking about choosing better numbers for yourself then just an old quick pick! This is just an idea so build on it any way you see fit.
Naturally we'll start with Number 1. For the second digit, try only going up to Number 10.
Now you'll want to pick ONE SET of these to stick with. 1-2 is the most popular but,of course, the others have every chance of showing up as well.
1-2
1-3
1-4
1-5
1-6
1-7
1-8
1-9
1-10
Let's say we are going to stick with 1-7.
To build a combo you'll always want to go up a multiple of 10 (in order) from the previous digit.
In this case our "previous digit" would be what?
The 7.
7+10 = 17 so you'll want to make your 3 spots with the 1 and 7 and all the numbers up to 17. I usually throw in an extra one for "Good Luck" so this will show to 18.
1-7-8
1-7-9
1-7-10
1-7-11
1-7-12
1-7-13
1-7-14
1-7-15
1-7-16
1-7-17
1-7-18
Now how to go about getting the 4th digit? Again, add +10 to your "previous" digit.
Let's take one of the above 3 spots to illustrate this.
1-7-12
The previous digit is 12.
12+10 = 22
So now we'd go up consecutively to 22.
1-7-12-13
1-7-12-14
1-7-12-15
1-7-12-16
1-7-12-17
1-7-12-18
1-7-12-19
1-7-12-20
1-7-12-21
1-7-12-22
I'll intertject here to say you may want to go back and search your game here on the LP to see which of the 3 spots you create may be "due" or are the Hottest before you go any further.
Let's say that 1-7-12 was super hot and showed up 25 times overall. What 4th digit did it show up with MOST or LEAST? (whichever kinds of numbers you like to play...hot or cold)
Punch in 1-7-12 and now look at the 4th digits down the row. What just came up with these 3? What DIDN'T? These are all things to consider when going for the 4th and 5th digits.
Once you decide on your 4th digit...now you can either go up the multitude of 10 again or find the numbers that have never shown up with your 4 spot. Or,to play it safe again, you'd just have to go up consectively from from the 4th digit to include every number up to your game's number field.
This way you'll give yourself a nice set of perhaps 20 or 30 combos to choose from every time you go to play :)
For example...I choose 1-7-12-16 in a 5/36 game...
