  If a person won both lotteries , what kind of investigate would it be and how long will it take ? 

  Has this ever happened ?

  Odds are 1 in 88,412,922,115,818,300 under the current formats. Could you clarify what kind of investigation you think would result from this?

  Only my hairdresser knows for sure.

  It will happen someday and likely it will be someone from New York or New Jersey where lotteries are just way too easy to win.

  I think it would be more amusing if both PB and MM had back to back drawings where the winning combo was 1-2-3-4-5 + 6, that way the prizes would be shared by the thousands of people who play that combo religiously every week.

  Only my hairdresser knows for sure.

  I actually thought about this when both JPs were going neck and neck at $500 million apiece. But I think they'd assume that this was another Tipton situation. The odds are so great that they'd probably assume there was some rigging going on. Both lotteries have their own investigators and are fairly closed-mouth about what they check for. We've only found out some things after an investigation has been forced to go public. 

  Do a Google search on the articles printed after a lottery scammer has been arrested or after a scammed winner sues. They tell you some basics re how they do their investigations. That will give you a general idea of what to expect.
