1 - 3 - 17 - 28 - 39
Last night's draw might be a very good example of what I was talking about earlier on here. Do you see the above pick I made that is attached ? Notice how I correctly picked the 17 and the 28, but yet they ended up being split on different lines or different draws. One number went to the double draw and the other number went to the main draw. I have always believed this is a tactic used by them to prevent money hits of any kind where they have to payout.
This is another characteristic of double draws - it cause numbers or balls to split apart and fall on different consecutive draws, thereby negating any payout hits of any kind because the ball hits don't fall on the same line or draw.
And how may times has the double been hit anyway ? I don't think it has even been hit more than twice since they started months ago. and keep this in mind as well. Those two hits they did have on the double draw, were only payouts of 34,000 thousand that the state had to pay out ( minus the 16 thousand in taxes as a one third loss by you the player ). If these hits had happened months ago when we had no double draw, the jackpot would have certainly been much higher and the state would have had to pay out a lot more than 34,000 for those two people hitting the jackpot. Just dirty folks, just plain dirty. You're always fighting the machine when you go up against them. It's hard for man to beat a machine. That's why the slots in Vegas are just noting more than computer machines encased in plastic and glass with some bells, whistles and lights. Greatest gambling device ever invented. Requires no casino employee whatsoever to be with it to run it and manage it like in the other games. It just sits there and and never moves and eats currency bills at a rapid pace, like a Billy goat that hasn't been fed in weeks.

Hey EZ I know it will feel like a defeat but as an outsider, I think you did well.
Not knowing all the facts, what I think may be the culprit here is you chased a bias, and as I am sure you are aware, they dont instantaneously correct. At this time, since we're up against the paradigm shift of the Cash 5 (nice way to say double draw crap) we all will benefit from serious post drawing analysis of what we did well and where we missed. Keeping that in mind, Look at your 17 and 28. Did you use the exact same methodology to achieve those picks? If it were based on games out did the hotter one hit first or something?
You wrote, "it cause numbers or balls to split apart and fall on different consecutive draws.." Absolutely. I am thinking that the double draw happens before the main drawing. so you might get bias correction there (DD) and not on the main one.
Also, my memory isnt always the best, but I THINK I recall Charloot saying he asked the ncel about the DD jackpot and they told him YES, if two people hit it, they split the 50K which I thought "you have got to be kidding" more reason to steer clear of that sucker's bet.
I emailed the ncel today to question them on how the DD results are achieved. I was a bit pointed in saying that with them being drawn off camera, and not live, it undermines player confidence and isnt in keeping with full transparency. Think of buzz words that will bend their ears, "transparency'' I suggested they do Cash 5 day and evening if they must do it twice daily. They seem to like those progressive jackpot style games recently and why not just put Cash 5 into that mix. I know they wont care, but if enough people complain about the lack of transparency then maybe something will happen. The problem with DD is we dont get to see it and consider those results before we make our wagers. Why cant NC just be a normal state with their lottery options?
I havent heard back from my email to ncel but I imagine the reply will be, "we have integrity we are audited nightly yada yada yada checks and balances, some attorney witnesses it or something???"

I know, Eclat. I agree with you. You are right. Too many unanswered questions by them that you have so well pointed out such as : How do we know which draw comes first - the double draw or the main draw ? Why is one of the two draws televised but the other second one not ? They just simply post it up there on the TV screen. Where did it come from, how did they get that second draw ? Was it produced by a RNG from a computer or was it ball drawn ( but obviously off camera if they did it that way ) ?
Which, by the way, none of these questions above demonstrate integrity, being fair and balanced and all the other mumbo jumbo code words they so often like to use.

5 - 9 - 14 - 29 - 31
14 - 31 - 35 - 41 - 43 ( 1st Draw )
9 - 12 - 13 - 24 - 29 ( 2nd Draw )
Man oh Man .... This time my pick tonight hit 4 out of 5 balls in their 2 draws. Hitting two balls in the first draw and 2 balls in the second draw.
Does this possibly mean that if we didn't have this double draw crap going on and only one draw, that maybe I would have had a 4 ball hit here tonight ???

I am so disappointed in double draw. Only 1 winner of $50,000 so far! since it started!
Guess what, I'm trying LFL daily for same price! Good luck everyone.
Charloot, Thanks for stopping by and letting us know what you're up to.
NCEL replied to my email yesterday regarding the double draw results. Here it is

Total Crap. Just plain ol' fashioned total CRAP !
An RNG or CRNG ( Computer random number generator ) inside of a computer will never be as fair, and as random as the balls and mechanical machines that draw them. The machines with balls are physical and tangible. It is real mathematical natural selection at work.
No one can actually see or see inside of a computer's electronic processes that generate a number. There is no one to be able to verify its validity because it's not out in the open like the balls are.
With an RNG, electricity passes through microchips, processors and hard drives, etc. How the heck do we or anyone ever know for sure if that number that it comes up with is genuinely fair and randomly chosen ?
The answer is ..... drum roll, please ..... ta da : It can't. It can't be ! It's impossible !
Watch out all you lottery fans across the United States. THIS IS THE WAY THAT ALL US LOTTERIES ARE GOING OR HEADED. BETTER GET USE TO IT. LOTTERIES AS WE ONCE KNEW IT ARE GOING TO BE GONE FOREVER. BETTER PLAY NOW WHILE SOME BALLS AND MACHINES GAMES STILL REMAIN FOR AS LONG AS THEY DO.

Happy Humpday!
So if the double draw is computerized then it's numbers do not effect the machine draws and should not be included in your analysis. This really changes the way we should look at our picks and projections. Wow!

Eclat and anyone else that has Smartluck products needs to email them and ask if they can filter out the double draw numbers since they don't come from the ball machine.
