Apologies guys I can see clearly now that the Karnac Theory and Gail Howard's "Percentage System" are totally different.
In any case, I am still interested in the Percentage System as it would be more time-efficient when one cannot study all of the charts.
But I have a few queries that hopefully some of you guys might be able to clear up for me please if possible.
The smartluck website states that the Percentage System is:
"a method for playing the hot lotto numbers. Use a list of winning numbers for the last ten drawings and find the numbers which have had 2 hits within the past 10 games, but at least one of those 2 hits should have taken place within the last 5."
Page 49 of the Lottery Master Guide states on the first paragraph:
"Find the numbers that have had TWO hits within the last TEN games, but at least ONE of those two hits should have taken place within the last FIVE games."
Then the third paragraph says:
"circle the numbers that have had at least two hits during the past ten games, and be sure that at least one of those two hits occurred within the past five games."
It is unclear to me if it has to be exactly 2 hits within the last 10, or is it at least 2 hits within the last 10?
I'm also unclear, if looking at the last 10 games, do some of the hits have to have taken place during games 6-10 or can they all be in games 1-5?
For example, a number could have 2 hits within the last 10, but both of them may have occurred within the last 5 games. Do these examples still qualify in the Percentage System?
I'm also unsure, does the Percentage system totally disregard numbers that are currently out exactly 10 games? Even though technically they would still be considered a hot number if they hit in the next (11th) game? Colder numbers seem to be classed as anything out more than 10 games, so it's unclear to me what to do with numbers out exactly 10 games.
And finally, I know that generally speaking a longshot number is classed as being out 17 games or more, and a lukewarm number is classed as being out 11-16 games. But in the lottery master guide it stated that in smaller number fields a long shot number would actually be classed as anything out 12 games or more. Does this mean that lukewarm numbers in smaller number fields are literally 11 games out? Or would a hot number limit in a smaller number field need to be adjusted to a lower figure than 10 games?
