I think we posted at the same time. Because I wouldn't have posted the over 2 million in my comment .
Great mindz thinking alike. Again! LOL. Seriously, it took me forever to do my post because I had to do that tedious thing to copy that data off the VA lottery site and you posted while I was doing that. I hate the way this site handles new posts that just so happen to come in while you are posting. I've lost posts with complicated markup and such because I wanted to see what other folks were posting while I was working and got tempted to hit that button without thinking and then realized that I've lost my work. I'm not a fan of how that works. At all.
RE: 769 - First thing this morning, I was all about that number in exactly that order because I was hunting 811 and 769 is a straight leader of the 811 I was expecting in the Night draw. Then I got distracted by the 217, which I decided was a stronger candidate to trigger the 811. Dang! I'm peeved that I didn't follow though on th e769 tonight, but that's not what I do. If at first I don't succeed with a workup, I stop. That's been my MO since the beginning. Anyway, I've given up on 811 and found 577 to be a better fit for the Saturday Day draw.

Yesterday GA had 811 straight for the EVE draw and we got 769. I noticed awhile back that GA and VA play off each other or together.

I keep coming back to this workup because it keeps going back to the numbers from 1996. 1996? SRSLY? Yeah, I know it's weird, but there it is - 1996. Here is the latest chart with the straight hits marked up in bright aqua and the boxed hits marked up in light aqua. EDIT: I was trying to get this posted before today's draw, but family duty came first. As it turned out, the 524 was just waiting to fall. Dang...
So, is this a winning strategy? First, let's answer the question, Is this a losing strategy? The shocking answer is No, this is Not a Losing strategy. But, Is this a Winning strategy? Was it possible to make money with this strategy, given the numbers that actually fell? The shocking answer to that question is, Yes, just barely. By my (unverified) calculations you would have won $4240 against a total cost of $4096, a whopping profit of $144. Unfortunately, you would have to choose exactly the right frame of numbers to play and there's no way to know that exactly except to follow this stuff like I do every day and then jump in at precisely the right moment, in this case because you suspect that the the 1996 numbers are the truth. And then be ready (and have enough money) to follow through to the bitter end. Just this once, it would have paid off with a very small profit. That's not enough meat on the bone for gamblers to get excited about, but I think it's incredible that it would be possible to blindly follow this strategy and beat the odds in a game where the House helps itself to 2 to 1 odds. That's what makes this interesting to me.
Thanks for reading!
P.S. One more thing and I promise I will shut up. In the past, when I've found one of these workups that actually would break even (or come close to breaking even), it's always involved a hit on a trip (or two). Not so in this instance. There were more 3-way numbers than I expected, and that's what drove the (tiny) profit, but no trips.
The Correlation workup was stuck for days on that frame of numbers from 1996 (see above) then suddenly today shifted to a frame from 2019. I'm amused because it immediately spit out a Straight Hit on 451. Woo Hoo! Here is the chart:
I only marked up the straight hits this time. 451 is right there. I always say that I'd like to catch one of these correlation workups when it starts it run and maybe make a few nickels off of it. This might be the one. You never know.
