Patty,
That is an often discussed question. There is no real answer but there are surely opinions. My personal one is: Do NOT play the same numbers over and over again! I do NOT play the same numbers for years. That is dangerous - of couse - because dventually you know them by heart and when they finally appear and did not play them? Not good.
In your case it is only one set which is not so big of a deal. My father played the same 10 sets for 40 years (6/49) and never won a million. I still remember at least one of those sets 1 2 3 4 5 49.
My reasoning is based on statistics. Let's look at the GA Fantasy 5 lottery. The particular area to look at are teh chances of numbers to reappear from one drawing to the other. In a 5/39 lottery repeats (how many numbers will reappear from the previous drawing in the following drawing) are distributed like this:
No number will reappear in 48.33 % of drawings,
only 1 number will reappear in 40.27 % of drawings,
2 numbers will reoccurs in 10.39 %,
3 numbers in 0.97 %, 4 numbers in 0.03 % of the cases and the chances of r5 repeats to occur are almost 0.
This information can be valuable. If in most cases the numbers do not reoccur, you should once a drawing is over play the next drawing accordingly, in this case play a set where either no number is the same as in the previous drawing or at least only one number is the same as in the drawing before. When you look at the chart, that would be the case in 89% of drawings. You can of course only do that by changing you numbers from drawing to drawing. In other states and lotteries the charts are different. It depends on the numbers in the field (In GA 39).
So play always different numbers. But the one you like probably does not hurt.
Good Luck
