      Camden,

The reason more winners come from the "suburban neighborhood(s)".  Is that these areas have a higher population density and therefore more people seem to win.  If you broke the numbers down you would see that just as many hit in both areas.

Of course lotteries are rigged - they're rigged to produce many losers and few winners!  That's just the way it works.

Could it be that rich people can afford to buy more tickets than other folks and therefore they are likely to win more often.  People who can't afford to lose, shouldn't play.

Nicly said, it just takes a little time. We all to often want to win this very moment. Yes you could play for a 1000 years and never win, or just play once and win a fortune. Just keep the faith and be glad we are allowed to even play the lottery. There is a better day coming.

As far as who wins has nothing to do with location. It's more like who can afford to play and who picks winning numbers or who gets the right quick pick with the right numbers. I see your state only has one pick 3 drawing. And a couple high stakes drawings. Hotlotto and powerball are tough to win. You could buy 100,000 dollars worth of tickets and still not win. Or you could buy just one ticket and join the list of winners. To me playing the lottery games is a challenge to see if i can win. I spend a great deal of my time trying to find the right numbers that might hit next. It has become sort of a game with me to see if I will pick the number straight and collect the 500 or 5000 dollar prize or more. The odds are definitely in favor of the lottery.

You can't earn a living playing the lottery unless you can pick a $500 winner or a $5000 winner on a regular basis. Or put enough money down on a number and it hits straight. Lotto post has a couple of prediction posters who do well in many states you might be able to find a person on the prediction pages who's numbers you might try and pick up a few bucks along the way. But play within your means. I think a lot of people play the lottery out of desperation to win money and are severely disappointed when they loose more than they win. Playing the lottery is a gamble and some people are good at it others are not. There are also tips and tricks you might use to win some money and you have to find a method that works for you. It can be frustrating to play for weeks or months and not win and then hit for a couple hundred and spend most of it trying to hit again.

Choosing the right numbers to play depends on your skills being able to pick through the numbers history of the game you wish to try and win and come up with good selections to play. Meaning you have to put something into finding the numbers to play or settle for quick pick and take a chance. Or guess what number might hit. Guessing is almost like buying quick picks because your not picking the numbers to play based on any observations of your states number history.

If they are rigged then why the crappy low jackpots in both powerball and megamillions? They would make a $400 million jackpot happen just to get the money from it. Instead both games haven't hit the $300 million mark in years and only looking less and less likely.

I get more suspicious of state lotteries not having any footage of their drawings than of the large games. Its all about the money in lotteries - why rig a game for crummy sales?

Precisely.  It's all luck.  Also, in the Powerball, it's highly unlikely we'll ever see a $400 million jackpot because they limit rollovers to $25 million if the jackpot reaches a record high.

The lottery commissions have no interest in anyone winning.  That is why they make it harder and harder to win.  The more the game rolls over, the more tickets they well.  It is a no-brainer.  The Lotto owes you nothing . . .
