I checked the file and it only matched four once.  Just use your late list for the next drawing or do you pick your numbers based on the last numbers drawn?  Apparently Trance didn't know what he was talking about when he said it was impossible for the random group to match 4 again with in the six drawings and it could not do better than a system.  Will check again Wednesday.  If PowerBall rolls to over $200M, I'm getting rid of my system and picking 100 random lines to play.  These test is proving using a system is a waste of time.

I hope you will post your next numbers at least a half hour before the drawing, as you are probably aware, posting your numbers at 11:00pm gives you the option of editing them until about 11:10pm which is well after the drawing is done.  I know as you wrote to Trance, you don't want this test to be a joke right?  Good luck on your next picks, I'm hoping your system can do better than those random picks.

Hi RJOh,

You have done with your Random picks, what I was hoping Trance and I could do with system picks.  In 5 drawings you have won 4 of 6 twice, and you have one more drawing to go. 

I have three more drawings to go and I will need to win big in order to catch up to or pass what your Random picks have done.  We will see what happens. 

Regardless, this has been a fun test.  Please let me know if you see any errors to my calculations below?

The best the random numbers could do is match 3 three times.  I think the above group match 2 twelve times, but no match 3's or 4's.  Better luck next time.

Looks like random selections is winning hands down.  I have two more drawings to play.  This little experiment should be over by next Saturday.  Unless I win big these next two drawings, I might start playing random picks myself.  LOL

Hello John - LA,

I noticed your last one hundred numbers didn't include 13 numbers, 3 or which were among the winning numbers.  Such a selected bias can serve you well when all the winning numbers are in your group, however having all 49 numbers seem to have served the random group better over time.  Having all 49 numbers in the random group an equal amount is also a bias that might not happen in 100 QP's from a terminal.  That bias was introduced into the group by the way the RNG was used.  It's natural to introduce a bias into a system knowing 43 of the 49 numbers aren't going to be picked when you're trying to cover the smallest group that is likely to have all six winning numbers.  That's a good strategy when it works and it's a necessary one when you only play a few lines.  I guess that why it's called gambling.  Good luck on your next picks.

Thanks for double checking.  I didn't think I matched anything.  LOL

Yep, Saturday is my last shot at this.  You know last night in my Lottery Club I tried something different.  We purchased 50 tickets and I selected just 2 numbers on each ticket and let the computer select the remaining 4 numbers.  I think we hit 3 or 4,  3 of 6 wins using that method.  LOL 

Anyway, we will see what happens on Saturday.

Here goes my last 100 picks.  If I don't do well tonight, I might begin playing random myself.  LOL  Just joking.  I will still pick my own numbers.  More fun for me that way, even if I lose.  At least I feel like I have a little control.  LOL
