Interesting comment, Jack. When people ask me what religion I practice I usually say "Natural Confusion." Maybe that suggests there is also an unnatural confusion, which could be true. This would be caused by bogus news articles, tv media influence and general gossip. You can only be confused if you don't comprehend something, right? So if one lives in a simple world where things are what they appear to be, confusion would be an uncommon condition.
<br... [ More ]
Confusion is the natural state for humanity. I wouldn't call what I got from your statement mileage, so much as yardage. I'm more of a quarter-horse kinda guy.
It wasn't worth being careful about in the future. A few smiles and chuckles are worth a few yards in this life.

J

RickG:

I went back and did some looking.... turns out I read some L. Ron Hubbard.... everything he wrote in Sci-Fi way back when. But I don't remember any of it.

I... [ More ]

You sure did get a lot of mileage out of me saying that that computer reminded me of a Scientology E-meter. I'm not sure why, but my simple statement created all kind of confusion. I'll be a little more careful next time.
