When I tell people I buy lottery tickets and they are negative and say that it's a waste of money or that nobody wins. I tell them people win all the time

To Todd - you are correct. However, I don't think the line came right after Rhett's famous departure. I'm not sure. I like the title to the movie. Sounds like a description of what happens to my money everytime I play the lottery. "Gone With The Wind" A comment on our world - when Rhett said "Damn" it was considered to be very bold for Hollywood. Now we see naked people having sex on television, sometimes with more than one person or gender.... [ More ]

The title of this blog entry reminded me of Scarlett O'Hara: "Tomorrow is another day." I think it came right after Rhett Butler's famous remark, "Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn."

Hi justexploring and Rick G, Yes I try to keep positive and I know that I will find a good company somewhere. Also I won $ 2.00 on a scratch ticket, it's not much, I wanted a bigger win. Do you buy scratch tickets as well ?

Good luck, Elizabeth. I hope you find something soon, but try not to get too frustrated if you don't get a call right away. I know it's scary, but just remember that if you get rejections, it has nothing to do with who you are and better news will follow. I always ask them to give me a winner...in fact I demand it. But they smile at me too. Sometimes they insinuate they want a piece of it and then I smile back at them. ;) That's why I only spend a buck...their smile isn't worth any more than that...lol Hey, good luck in the job hunt.
