If you get bored a lot, you might not enjoy this part of Florida, although the East Coast is much more crowded. Naples has grown dramatically, but it's still relatively quiet & safe. For a tourist, there's many things to do, especially if you like boating or fishing or just enjoying the bright sunshine on a sandy beach. Like any other city, we have lots of restaurants, too many Walgreen's, and Target, Walmart, Dollar stores & fast food. From Christmas to Easter the roads are very congested... [ More ]

Weshar-, I have been to the casino and only tried the slots, only won some credits,. As I don't go often. When I get some more money though I want to try the table games as well, but I would limit my spending as I know that some of the players overspent and then they end up broke. I wouldn't want that happening. Starchild,- yes the lottery commission doesn't offer the payouts they should when the consumer has between 4 to 7 numbers in a combination to win a money prize.<br... This has nothing to do with the topic, but I just signed on to look at the comments on the blogs and suddenly noticed 8 mosquito bites on my legs. I've always said that I could never live in a cold place like Nova Scotia, as gorgeous as it looks in pictures. However, right now at 2AM it's 12C which is around 54F or about 20 degrees cooler than South Florida. Sounds wonderful!

Elizabeth-My lottery wins are a joke over the last 13 years. I have had far more casino wins at my local casino then lottery wins. I have been playing slots for a good 10 years now and I just started to take interest in table games. So my gambling dollars will go to my local casino first. I am really getting into learning the ins and outs of table games. It is something that I have to try because I enjoy the action at the tables.-weshar75

Congrats on your win! However, I know exactly what you mean. I've been playing the FL Lotto for 12 years and have never missed a drawing yet I've won less than $100. But $10 is better than nothing at all. By the way, I stopped playing Fantasy 5 to save money and a couple of days ago 2-10-19-28-34 came up. My numbers were 2-7-10-19-28. I would have won $108. Still, had I kept playing all these past few months, I'd be about even or a little behind, so I'm not really upset about it. Keep listening to those "good feelings!"... [ More ]

Good morning, Elizabeth. Congrats on your $10 win. I agree, that's a skimpy payoff compared to the odds you beat. But it gives you some playing money, right? ...or a nice steak and eggs breakfast.
