I knew it was "a rover" - thought Jack was being funny because of all the dog ads. We'll never know, but I'll vote for that. To all...thanks for your comments. I hope the expression "waiting for The Sandman" hasn't changed since I was a child. To me it means I want to get sleepy so I can go to bed. There was a song "Mr. Sandman, bring me a dream. (bum, bum, bum, bum) Make him the cutest that I've ever seen. (bum, bum bum bum) ...."
