Oh yeah, Saleo. At least you are being a man and posted your side of it. You didn't just block it out and pretend it didn't happen and it is important enough to you to be addressed because I know it was important to you when you received the money.

Is it because they believe that the love you are showing at the time and the sad story makes it a gift? Laverne is telling people the same thing. It was a gift. A gift 5 times each time she asked for money? If it was a gift why was Laverne trying to send me a post dated check when I told her I didn't have any money. To Eniliyg on your Nov post here you said you got took and Blocked I have told you a dozen times that i never blocked you.but somehow you got blocked but it was not my doing i don't know how many times i have to tell you that and I kept my word I let you know when Penny passed away I have never in my life cheated anyone but your friend has got you snowed so believe what you want but i never took you for anything and like Rick G and The rest said well that is why he quit posting no it wasen't it was because of troublemakers like Bluegrass,Ask Mglsr we started a Pool and when i seen i didn't have the time I sent his money back along with a check from bluegrass joining the pool and that was close to $700 they invested so ask MIke about tha I am sure he will tell u that but like I say i do not need to justify what i do and you know the $1,000 you sent was for Penny not me I told you then i would pay it back but you kept insisting that it was not to be paid back and it looks like you let me down not me letting you down i really did not believe what you of all people has done against me but I don't care anymore so do your thing you arte the one who will pay eventualy you don't turn on someone because you accidentaly got blocked and i had nothing to do with it.... I quit posting because i had other things to do and I never blocked Emilyg and I never took emilyg and she knows that I told you i didn't want the money but both of you insisted I said i didn't need it but Penny might and she did, but you insisted saying this unknown rich woman wanted too help out and i said no but you kept insisting then you sent the $1,000 and there were never $2,000 I don't play on anyone Money is not my problem friend I am well taken care of, from my retirements and other investments OI don't need no ones money.I give more than that monthely to Charities,.... I think you should name the person for the stake of others that let their heart rule sometimes. I use to be sucker for a sad song .UNtil one day I loan somebody 300.00 and didnot see a penny of it back once they got on there feet.Enough to buy a sport car.Lesson Learn

You can always take her to court.... and the court will be in your favor... you have the email to prove that you did not give the money as a gift..... It was a loan.... Hiya sweet hearted kind lady, I am so sorry that she did this to you, in life we all have been taken at one time or another. even as a gift, that you were there when she was in need she should repaid the whole amount back, saying Thank you for being there. But we know there are a lot of takers, One thing you can be sure of she will fall and hit hard and NO ONE will help her up. more than likely she's done this to others . I am thoroughly disgusted by this turn of events. What a reprehensible act. You know we all have our differences on the boards, but it's things like this that make us realize also how similar we all are here. Well, outside of a couple of bad apples. And to think, all this time, Janet, I always thought you and LM were best of friends. Apparantly, you thought so too and got hurt in the process. I think it's sad that people take advantage of others with good hearts. Even if I had it to give, I would never lend money to someone I didn't know personally, especially for gambling. I realize all of us think we are friends on this board and have some kind of personal connection. However, the reality is that even a married man or woman discovers his/her spouse has been cheating or the kids have been taking drugs or stealing. I'm usually naive and trust everyone I meet, but I've learned the hard way that trust if often rewarded with disappointment or worse.... [ More ]

Janet with your system.. double up and make up the loss you took with LM.. It was a gamble you took with a human being and loss. It is easier just play numbers than it is to gamble with people.. Less hurt feelings. A good friendship will not allow money to come between the two. Continue to "take it to the bank" ... just don't do any withdrawals for anyone but yourself..

i never lend my money to others for gambling. and rarely for anything else for that matter. Sure i have helped people out but if they screw me even once i'm done with them. as far as loaning money. i wish i had all the money i have given/loaned to people over the years and never got back. I could probably take a few vacations to Hawaii. When people have bills that are bigger than their pay check then they should be concentrating on paying the bills not playing the lo... [ More ]

The last two times she asked for money I didn't give it to her (taxes and a sick dog) and that's when she told me she had a guy giving her money to play pick 4s. Then soon after that she quit speaking to me and now I am blocked on all emails.

She cut heavily into my gambling money. I need my money. I'd have to make deposits in my account after I put money in hers. Why won't she pay me? Does she think I just gave her the money. They were loans not gifts. She said she would pay me when she got on her feet. With all the posting of $$$$ you would think she was on her feet by now. She's got me blocked. She say I got a bad attitude about the situation and send bad energy her way.
