Many blue moons ago in the distant past I was hosted by Uncle Sam assigned to El Paso in West Texas for a spell. Later returning to civilian life I was on the road meeting many good folks in numerous cities. In all my travels with the exception of OKies, I never met any the likes of Texans. <br />I met a British woman in a chat room shortly after I got online and she came over to see me several times and would marvel at how friendly the people were . We were driving around the countryside on a sparsely traveled road and I was showing her where I had grown up. I stopped to let her take some photos of a herd of antelope and not just once, but three different times people stopped to see if we were having car trouble.
