Some of the most contentious arguments I've ever seen online weren't about politics or religion, but in food site forums. It's almost embarrassing to see a fellow Texan claim it's a sin to put beans in chili. "That's not how we do it here in Texas!" Uh yeah, some folks do, hate to bust your bubble. I personally don't care for beans in MY chili, but a lot of times I put a can of chili in my beans, go figger. Another big argument is when a site puts up a recipe for goulash, but the puri... [ More ]
I like hot dogs myself, but I don't like ketchup on mine. I prefer chili dogs w/ mustard and every now and then a dollop of relish on them. I would opt for mayo over ketchup if I had to make a choice.

BBQ weenies are pretty good, though.

Of course, I don't care what you put on your hot dog. You can put relish or sauerkraut on it for all I care. I don't even give a crap if you put beans in your chili or make goulash without paprika or even prefer vodka in your martini over gin.

I'm all for this:

I, like so many others, truly dislike ketchup on hotdogs, and I prefer not to be around anyone who uses ketchup on hotdogs. I call upon all hotdog stands to post a list of those who ask for ketchup on their hotdogs.

Pat Sajak (@patsajak) September 5, 2019
