I'm all for doing away with it/DST but just like anonymity in the lottery, people need to contract their Congressional representatives with a phone call, followed up with a hand written letter and then with email(s), as well as encourage their like-minded friends to do the same. But, that would require some actual time & effort and they'd rather sign some trivial online petition or whine about it on message boards, just as they do w/ anonymity.... [ More ]

years ago they did a study it involved school children standing on dark corners and getting into accidents so they decided to keep daylight savings time.
