In fact if you were watching the trial, one of the rioters said, he aimed his gun at Rittenhouse and that's when Rittenhouse aimed his gun and shot him in the arm, But I know, he's white.

You're missing the point dog, intent matters, he shouldn't have been there, he doesn't belong there he's not a cop he's a vigilante he went to look for trouble. He put himself in a dangerous situation and then claims self-defense when that dangerous situation arises.

But like I said originally (in my past post). Based on the videos shown at trial, which showed self defense. Based on those videos, you could reasonably feel like he needed to defend himself with a weapon. But lets not forget (if you are insisting RittenHouse is a victim), that he put himself in a situation that no one should have been in. It is not a private citizen's job to be a vigilante and to enforce the law.<br

It is not a private citizen's job (more certainly not a 17 year old) to take up arms and show up to any community to do the policing. Law enforcement is supposed to have that job. The idea that RittenHouse is some sort of hero here, because he didn't like that there was some looting taking place, so therefore he felt the need to takeup arms and show up and try to "protect that community".
